PUJADES

BARCELONA APARTMENT

We reimagined a former 1970s industrial building in Barcelona’s Poblenou district as a 125 sqm creative workspace. Originally used as a warehouse, the interior preserves its exposed structural pillars and distinctive layout, defined by a 110-degree angled wall that shapes its unique geometry.

With expansive views over the city, we conceived the space as a shared creative studio for photographer @marcelthejuan and art director @studioainhoanagore . Our main goal was to maximize natural light, allowing long work sessions without relying on artificial illumination. We achieved this by creating a white, stripped-down environment centered around two main sources of daylight: a skylight set within an elevated, exposed ceiling, and a large terrace that opens the entire floor plan through sliding doors.

The atmosphere is one of calm and clarity, supported by a restrained yet expressive palette of materials. We combined carefully selected textures to introduce subtle contrasts within a unified composition. A custom-built service core organizes the open layout and defines the kitchen area. Made from MDF, these elements reflect our commitment to raw, uncoated, and minimally processed materials, giving the studio its honest, tactile character.
